Chromium oxide has a good spraying process performance, and its spraying process specification is wide, and it is less sensitive to overheating generated during spraying, and it is not easy to crack when the coating partially overheats. The sprayed layer is very dense and has a high bonding strength with the substrate, making it easy to perform machining such as grinding and polishing. However, the deposition efficiency of pure chrome oxide powder is low, which leads to an increase in coating cost. The chromium oxide coating prepared by flame spraying or plasma spraying is relatively dense, and the coating is insoluble in acid, alkali and alcohol. After proper sealing, the coating can be used in environments with chemically corrosive media.
